Yoga Therapy
-
Yoga Therapy, the remedial tradition of yoga, aims to empower you to improve your condition through self-action. It is a multidimensional approach which identifies and recognises the interrelationship between physical and emotional states, attitudes, diet, behaviour, lifestyle, relationships and the environment in which we live—and the state of our health. It is a personalised, iterative and staged approach, in which Yoga techniques are adopted and adapted to support agreed positive health outcome(s).
-
Yoga Therapy is premised on a one-on-one relationship between an appropriately qualified Yoga Therapist and Client in a Clinical Setting.
The process involves:
Intake and Assessment to understand the nature and impacts of the problem;
Identify underlying causes and effects (which are often multiple), may be known and unknown to the client, through careful observation, dialogue and assessment;
Collaborative goal setting for the short and long-term;
Written personalised practice and lifestyle recommendations based on the rich repertoire of Yogic tools to best suit the needs, personality, lifestyle, resolve and condition of the Client;
Client trialling the recommendations; and
Reconvene for feedback, assessment and refinement.
In an ideal situation, the practice will be adapted at chosen checkpoints to meet the changing health, needs and goals of the client.
-
$150 for 75-90mins including written practice and lifestyle recommendations
$110 follow up one week after - 60 min with any changes documented
$285 follow up 3 session bundle (recommended)

Yoga became my sanctuary amidst the relentless pace of a global technology career. From my very first class, I was captivated by a profound sense of renewal and clarity. This sparked a deep curiosity, leading me to explore the reasons for the subtle, yet significant shifts it was fostering in my body, mindset and habits.
-
Today, my journey has come a full circle. Where I once guided organisations through business transformation using technology, I now empower individuals to create lasting personal change. With over 3,000 hours of experience, I specialise in personalised yoga practices - whether in a remedial setting, or Yoga professionals ready to explore the deeper practices of Yoga.
-
Motivated by the accessibility and endless adaptability of Yoga to meet the needs of the individual, my work extends across various communities:
Self-care programs for Foster Carers;
School-based mindfulness initiatives;
Addiction treatment and mental health rehabilitation;
Resident Yoga Therapist at Little Jewels Acupuncture;
I have worked with the anxious, those living with insomnia, chronic pain or simply overloaded with life.
The bespoke approach puts you at the epicentre: your lifestyle, body, personality and goals, irrespective of background, challenges or belief system.
